Teardrops on my Guitar.

Sunday 23 August 2009

cause it may be too late.

got something to share with you guys.

at T1 on Friday...
"hello sister"
"haah...? oh yes?"
"sister can you tell me where is the check in. is it this way?" *points to the viewing gallery.
"errr. nope. its downstairs."
"but sister i dunno where to go. can you show me...?"
"uh. ok. can i see your boarding pass?"

"BANGALORE airlines"
[lol no wonder he keeps calling me sister]

after showing him to the info counter [because i dunno where to check in for bangalore airlines]
"THANK YOU AH SISTER" lol.

from this incident i've learnt something and learnt to appreciate something else.

LEARNT: bangladesh workers don't come by ship to SG (no offence dudes). anyway its really faster by plane. lol

APPRICIATED: don't forget your fellow men who built our beloved HDB flats k. honestly. they put a great deal of hard work into it to earn some peanuts (although currency-wise, its not bad for them).

ok. down to the serious stuff.
Scenario 1: your job description/contract states that you should do A, B and C for work only. however, if your manager/supervisor asks you to do D instead (to fill someone in cause theres a lack of staff of something). assuming no difference in pay and safety at work.

DO you obligingly follow what your "boss" says and just "guai guai" do it? [pardon the Singlish, it seems appropriate here]

OR DO you just not do it? ["its not in my job description]

its really a dilemma here. people! if you're too shy to post your comments on my blog, you can always send me an email at lhfcheryl@gmail.com. i really need your opinion on this.
